Pizushi? -nah they’re Pizza rolls
Kinda just made this one up as I went... I knew I wanted to make dough I just didn’t have a plan re what to do with it...
Ingredients:
165grams mozzarella
36grams softcheese
80grams almond flour
1 egg
Seasonings of your choice (I go for oregano,rosemary, garlic OR a vindaloo style curry mix
Method
Put the Mozzarella, almond flour and soft cheese into a microwavable bowl and mix.
Microwave for a little over a minute
Mix around, put back in the microwave for another 30 secs
Add the egg and seasoning to the bowl (I usually go for a pinch of salt, 1/4 - 3/4 teaspoon of oregano and garlic)
Mix and fold well until the egg is no longer separated from the mixture.
Plop your dough out onto grease proof paper or a silicon mat
knead it out into a rectangular shape
Add your sauce! Pesto, passata anything you think will taste good!
Add your toppings thinner toppings work better with this one! I kept it simple with cheese and pepperoni
Gently lift the long side of the rectangle and start rolling it in on its self until it’s shaped like a long sausage
Cut into sections and lay them on their side in a baking tray! I use silicon mats but greese proof paper will work here!
Cook at 200c for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown (:
